Milnerton Lagoon, adjacent to Lagoon Beach, viewed at dusk. The lagoon is the home to varied bird species and is clean & safe. Woodbridge Island is in the background. One of the most identifiable features of Milnerton is its lagoon, formed where the Diep River enters the sea, with palm trees adorning the Milnerton lagoon banks. Milnerton lagoon is used by canoeists from the Milnerton Canoe Club. The club runs Time Trials every Wednesday evenings during the Winter months. |
